What a great time I had with Amanda!! :) Here are a few shots from this evening :)

hot HOT hOt!!!

I can't remember a time in the past 10 years where the hot weather has stayed so long!! almost 2 weeks of +30 everyday.

We had a great morning at the water park, until Mr. "I still nap every 2 hours and don't want my routine interrupted" informed us it was time to head home..





I think this is my new favorite shot of Olivia, she was just quietly playing with her"gidy up girl" (stick pony/unicorn) and I was able to catch her un-posed~ which at the moment can be a feat :)

How appropriate the week after we're home from our lovely little lake house holiday it's beach week :) It's hard to capture a honest smile from little miss O these days, I love this one though with her dirty feet in the sand~ building not just any sandcastle but a disney princess sandcastle.

it's been great visiting with you guys!! Here's a few of the shots from last night :)

Bellingham Lake House

This is one of my favorite places to go. Only 20 minutes from the CND/US border, right on the lake, hottub and tons of shopping :) It's going to take me a while to wade through all my pictures but here are a few of my favorites :)

One day Jaimie's sister and kids came down from Vancouver and the kids had a ball playing together :) Cousins are so much fun!!











I kept trying to get a shot of Dawson playing in the sand and all I ended up with was this wanna-be Victoria Secret swimsuit pose!! :)

Finally have my camera back!!

I finally got my luggage and camera back. Here are a few pictures looking out our hotel window. This was the first 2 hours of the fire. After that we thought they had it under control and headed out to our family's house in Glenrosa. In that 10 minutes it grew from 10 hectares to 50, jumped the highway and was making it's way down the mountain right above us. That's when we were evacuated.

I'm home from holidays without my camera :( and it'll still be a few days till it arrives, so there won't be any posts from the beautiful ocean front wedding, lake house in Bellingham, or wild forrest fire we were evacuated from till later in the week.

Bella Coola

Wow what a hill!! Neither Laura or myself have ever been to Bella Coola so we decided it was where we should go for our girls getaway :) It was so great for us to have such uninterrupted time to chat and catch up. We were so fortunate to be able to spend a whole day with friends of hers who just moved there from Victoria. They took us out on their beautiful boat for the day to natural hot springs and on the way we were able to stop and watch about a dozen dolphins swimming around our boat.

Such a great wedding!!

We had such a great time this weekend at Jenn and Dave's wedding. Everything was amazing from the food and music to weather and friends.

the scariest part of the weekend was when the groom had to get out of the tippy canoe on to the dock :)
