I'm so excited!! :)

Yay I'm so excited I finally made the top 10 (#7) in the I heart faces weekly photo contest with my silhouette shot. While I'm writing this I'm sitting watching an amazing suset over the flat lands of Manitoba and listening to the birds and owls chatting. I just love being here. So there won't be any photo posts till next week but I'll make up for it once I'm home. Have a great week :)

I've been waiting for this week. I had this idea when I learnt that my neighbor was graduating and played the trombone. He was a great sport and I'm so happy with how it turned out.

What a great surprise dinner out I had last night. Good food and great friends~ perfect evening. I got this beautiful plant from the girls I worked with at the Laser Clinic~ thanks!! :)

Echo Valley Ranch & Spa

What a great birthday weekend I had!!  Jaimie surprised me with a weekend away at the Echo Valley Ranch and Spa.  The biggest dilemma... have a nap or go for a massage or have a hottub or eat more delicious food :)

new subjects?

The theme for a photo class I'm in was "around the house" so I thought these little guys would prove good subjects.  They stayed where I put them and didn't complain one bit :)

Olivia & Dad date night

On Friday I had my bookclub meeting here so Olivia and Jaimie headed out for a date night.  She was so excited and planned the whole thing (hmm wonder where she gets that from :)  She picked out what both of them were going to wear and that they should go somewhere "very fancy" DairyQueen :)
